Tallahassee, FL - As part of the Florida Democratic Party's aggressive reaction to Charlie Crist taking the easy way out, avoiding responsibility and leaving the hard work of facing Florida's problems to the next governor, the party is launching http://www.CutandRunCrist.com.

"This week, Chairwoman Thurman pledged to send Charlie Crist into retirement for running from the mess he created as governor. As part of that effort, the Florida Democratic Party today launched http://www.CutandRunCrist.com, which will be updated throughout the election cycle. This website, just one part of the Florida Democratic Party's comprehensive new media program, will hold Crist accountable for his many failings as governor," said party spokesman Eric Jotkoff.

"Crist's decision creates a once in a generation opportunity for change in Florida and ensures that nothing will be the same after 2010. In the next 20 months, there will be a fight for the Governor's mansion, a United States Senate seat, three other statewide offices up for grabs, a number of seats in Congress, and with at least 9 open State Senate seats and 22 open State House seats that are currently held by Republicans, there will be other legislative races across the Sunshine State - and Floridians will cast their ballots for proven Democratic leadership to bring change. The Florida Democratic Party will use all means of communications to reach out to Floridians to make this change possible."
